An off-grid homestead · New Hampshire

A small, crafted piece of the Granite State.

Granitello is a four-cabin off-grid retreat rising in the White Mountains - a working orchard, a wood-fired sauna, and a slower, self-reliant way to stay.

Off-grid & regenerative

Solar power, captured rainwater, and a working landscape that gives back more than it takes. Starlink keeps you connected when you want to be.

Designed by Eden & Dane

Every cabin, path, and planting is shaped by the same regenerative design practice we bring to clients - built small, built to last, built beautifully.

Rooted in the land

Four cabins gathered around an orchard and a quiet pond - close enough for a shared table, far enough apart to disappear for a weekend.

The Vision

“New Hampshire is the Granite State. Granitello is our small, careful piece of it - built the way my family always built: modestly, by hand, and to last for generations.” - Dane, founder of Eden & Dane

Granitello began as a question: what if a place to stay could also be a working model of how to live lightly on the land? Four off-grid cabins, a fruit orchard, a nursery, and a pond - a homestead that runs on sun and rain, and welcomes a handful of guests at a time to slow down inside it.

We're early. The land search is underway and the first drawings are on the table. This site is where the story unfolds - and where you can claim your place in line.

The Land

A whole working homestead, designed as one.

Everything at Granitello is connected - power, water, food, and gathering - so the property runs as a single, self-reliant system.

The cabins around the pondAdd your image here

The cabins & the pond

Four identical cabins gather loosely around a natural pond, each with its own view and a private porch. A walking path threads between them, past the orchard and down to the water.

  • ~600 sq ft each - kitchenette, full private bath, a real bed and a quiet view
  • Thick thermal-mass walls and south-facing glass for warmth without the grid
  • Organic linens, local soaps, and food grown steps from your door

The orchard, nursery & coop

A working fruit orchard and plant nursery sit at the heart of the property - not a backdrop, but a living larder. Hens range nearby, and seasonal workshops turn the harvest into something you take home.

  • Pick-your-own fruit and fresh eggs through the growing season
  • Hands-on workshops in grafting, growing, and preserving
  • Plants propagated on site - and available to take with you
Pavilion & wood-fired saunaAdd your image here

The pavilion & sauna

A central pavilion holds a communal kitchen and an open space for a shared meal, a morning of yoga, or simply somewhere to gather. A wood-fired sauna and a natural swimming pond round out the slow ritual of a stay.

  • Communal kitchen and gathering space - use it as you like
  • Wood-fired sauna with a cold plunge in the pond
  • Off-grid throughout - solar, rainwater, septic, Starlink Wi-Fi

Grafting, propagation, growing, and preserving - small hands-on sessions led on the land.

Wood-fired sauna

Heat by the pond, then a cold plunge under the trees. The oldest ritual, done properly.

Yoga & stillness

Morning practice in the pavilion or out on the grass. Bring your own pace.

Foraging & trails

Guided walks through the woods and along the water, learning what the land offers.

The communal table
